RITTER’S is owned and operated by Ritter and Brigid Jones. Ritter is the former Executive Chef of Marietta Country Club and has worked at a variety of Atlanta clubs including the Piedmont Driving Club, Coosa Country Club, and Barnsley Gardens in Adairsville. Brigid is a former Ritz Carlton Pastry Chef who also worked at the Piedmont Driving Club and Marietta Country Club and is a full time mother of two.

The Chef Duo met in 1985 at Johnson & Wales College in Rhode Island. After graduating, they worked in Colonial Williamsburg before moving to Florida to work at The Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach. There Brigid advanced to be the assistant Pastry Chef and then moved on to the Ritz in Manalapan. Ritter was the Banquet Chef for the Breakers massive catering operation before becoming Executive Sous Chef of the P.G.A. National Resort & Spa in North Palm Beach.

In 1993 Brigid had their first child, Brydie, and Ritter got his first Executive Chef position at the Lodge & Bath Club in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.

The Jones Family moved to Atlanta in 1995 and settled here in East Cobb to be near Brigid’s family. And, in 2002, they added another Child, Hayden before taking on the grade task of opening RITTER’S in April of 2004.

Brigid was solely responsible for all of the interior décor, while Ritter supervised the construction to ensure all went as they wished. Together, they have created—in design, menu, and service—a true “neighborhood restaurant.”
